Events Calendar

The Arizona Swiss Society is committed to its community and its Swiss heritage.  We keep a full calendar of events...all year around.  From our famous holiday party to charity fund raisers, we are a busy group.  Here is a list of upcoming events:

Please note that the date has changed from April 10th to April 17th! We hope to see you all at our yearly Spring Picnic at the Boyce Thompson Arboretum.

ANNUAL MEETING

Sunday, February 20th 2011 at 12 noon



The President, Doris Torres, will give her report following the election of the Board of Directors. Please see the Letter of the President for more information.

Members will vote on revisions to the By-Laws of the AZ Swiss Society. At the LE CHALET RESTAURANT, 5626 W. Bell Road, Glendale, AZ 85308

Scottsdale Sister Cities Performance and Presentation - Tuesday, April 13th from 7:00-8:30 pm at At Chaparral Suites—Cactus Room.  Join us for a performance and presentation on our Sister City, Interlaken, Switzerland By the Youth Exchange students from Switzerland. Event will be on Tuesday, April 13th from 7:00-8:30 pm at At Chaparral Suites—Cactus Room. 5001 N. Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85250 (N.E. corner of Chaparral and Scottsdale Road)

Swiss Fall Fest - Friday October 9th at 6pm at the residence of Max and Elsbeth Haechler (6116 E. Cactus Wren, Paradise Valley, AZ 85253). Bring your friends and join us for an evening of Gemütlichkeit with original Swiss Veal Bratwurst and Cervelat, Raclette & Potatoes, Zopf-Bread, Apple Strudel, Iced Tea, Lemonade, and free Beer!
